Basic course

Absolvents of the basic course will understand principles of pm4u. They will be able to create and edit resources, create new project with tasks and constraints between them and to print Gantt chart.

Description

Participants of the basic course will learn principles of pm4u and management of resources. After that, we will concern with planning and we will create a new project with tasks, we will create constraints between them and we will learn ho to print the Gantt chart.

  • Creating of resources (Resource group structure, creating of resources, resources work week, availability, qualificatioins, absences, cost rates)

Advanced course

Absolvents of the advanced course will learn how to create and edit resources and assign them to tasks in projects. You will know how to manage the project and work with and understand the corresponding reports. Moreover, you will know how to work with a view with more projects at once.

Description

Participants of the advanced course will learn how to create and edit resources and then how to assign the resources and resource groups on the tasks. Next subject of the advanced course is understanding of workplan and workload of resources, identification of resources overloads and thier solving.

  • Assigning of resources in project and resource Gantt chart (assignments of resources and resource groups, fixing of hours or percent, cost rates, delay between tasks, fixing of deadlines, assignments in Gantt chart, deleting of assignments)
  • Working with more projects (My current projects, selecting of projects using criteria, sorting of projects)
  • Working in resource Gantt chart (Time scale and time range, working with assignments, identifying and optimizing of overloads)
  • Workload of resources (View of resource assignment and workload of resources and resource groups, optimizing of overloads, export of workload, report with workloads of resources by week)

  • Following of project (Bookmarks, updating of tasks, project development, project state)

Time tracking course

Absolvents of Time tracking course are able to find projects and tasks and enter hours worked to them. They understand reports concerning time tracking.

Description

In this course, you will learn various ways of time tracking in pm4u and to understand related reports.

  • Basic settings concerning time tracking (Month break, locking of tasks, user rights)
  • Searching of projects and tasks
  • Entering of hours worked in grid (Grid view, entering of hours worked and overtime, notes, changing of remaining hours, printing of month grid)
